Taylor and Taylor Morgan have one of the sweetest love stories I’ve ever had the pleasure of documenting. It a love story that proves time and distant don’t mean a thing.
Taylor and Taylor Morgan met in Miami, Florida while they were both on their high school spring break. The thought that they would meet their future spouse that night on spring break never crossed their minds. But as fate would have it, after spending a night chatting, Taylor was a gentleman and escorted Taylor Morgan and her friends home. That night they shared their first kiss. They knew instantly knew they had just started something special. They wouldn’t see each other again for another 5 years.
Over the next five years Taylor would send Taylor Morgan letters here and there. In an effort to push this beautiful girl out of his mind he even tried to get rid of her phone number but he patched the paper up and called her to ask her out. Taylor Morgan was ecstatic to hear from Taylor again. She lied and said she had planned a trip home just so that she would have a chance to see Taylor again. She drove from Virginia to Michigan to go on a ‘casual’ date with this wonderful man she hadn’t seen in 5 years. Taylor was beyond nervous. He had always seen Taylor Morgan as the one who got away and now he had another shot. He borrowed his Dad’s jacket and jeep, made a trip to the florist and got a fresh hair cut. He was sure that the moment he saw her he would grab her and kiss her. But when Taylor Morgan got out of the car he was speechless. He couldn’t believe that she was his all night. They talked all night and have been inseparable since.
The morning of Taylor Morgan’s birthday Taylor took her to the water and made a fire. While they walked they talked about their future and what they both wanted. Taylor got down on one knee and as he puts it “she smiled and cried in the same instant as she said yes”.
The way Taylor adores his future wife is everything. You can see his love and respect for her in his eyes and it’s heart-warming. Before their first date Taylor looked at his mom and said “I think I’ve always loved her”. And he always had. They will marry this spring and start their lives as one. We started their engagement session in a cozy hammock before we headed out on frozen lake michigan to brave the cold!
